woman couldn't put together a classic gray pencil skirt (without those
odd gatherings) and a pink blouse for a fraction of the price that these
pretentious designers put out, even in their "Ready-to-Wear" labels?
And gold and black? Who hasn't tried that for a party occasion?

In my previous post, I analyzed the Lanvin ads for the Spring/Summer 2012 collection. I didn't spend any time with the actual clothes.
Here is Lanvin's 2012 Spring/Summer collection. There is nothing special about the clothes, and in fact for a well-known designer, it is disappointingly mediocre (if we go to the wearable items, and leave out the "avant-garde" ones).
